On Monday 16th of Muhrram 1401H (22nd November 1980 AD), the airplane of His Majesty late King Khalid Bin Abdul Aziz Al-Soud, the higher Commander of Armed Forces landed in King Abdul Aziz Naval Base airport, Jubail.to unveil the memorial stone and raise the flag of the Naval Forces to usher the opening of Ling Abdul Aziz Naval Base that represents a brick in the strong and advanced building of our Armed Forces and a significant factor of stabilization in the area.
